Mulindwa Muwonge is a celebrated Ugandan musician whose career spans over two decades. His debut album, "Restetuta" (2002), featured hits like “Tweyanziza,” “Ssese,” and “Ssekiriba.” He resurfaced in April 2024 with "Racheal," a six-track collection including “Sanduke,” “Racheal,” “Obulaamu Bwange,” “Number Yange,” “Nazaalibwa,” and “Malibu Toole” (featuring Nathan Bwerenga). Earlier, he contributed to The Ugandan Millennium Song (2021), a collaborative single spotlighting legends like Juliana Kanyomozi and Paul Kafeero. Muwonge’s music reflects a deep connection to Ugandan culture and storytelling, weaving traditional melodies into contemporary arrangements. Known for his evocative voice and richly textured compositions, he bridges generational divides through his art.
