Halima Echeikh, better known as Naama, was a famous Tunisian singer. Discovered by composer Salah Al Mahdi, Naama gained immense popularity as a soloist at Tunisian Radio in 1958. Naama's versatile vocal range allowed her to sing over 360 songs in various genres, inspiring major Tunisian composers and poets. She retired in the late 1990s and passed away in 2020 at the age of 86 after a long illness. Her music remains a testament to her Tunisian cultural heritage.
