Though popularly known by his stage name Naira Marley and his cult-like followers called Marlians, Azeez Fashola is a Nigerian performer, songwriter, and record label boss. He rose to fame with hit single "Issa Goal" in 2017 and has since become a popular figure in Nigerian music. He's known for his controversial lyrics and has faced legal issues, including arrest, due to his music and public statements. Nevertheless, Azeez has a large following and continues to release successful music and sell out shows.
