Bio
Nelson Freitas, a talented Dutch singer, actor, and record artist, from Cape Verde. Born in Netherlands, but exposed to Cape Verdean music from a young age. In the late 1990s, he was a member of the R&B group Quatro Plus, but it wasn't until 2006 that he launched his first solo album, Magic. The album received critical acclaim and thrust him to stardom in the Cape Verdean and European music scenes. Freitas has since released numerous successful albums, including "Four (2016)", and has collaborated with many acclaimed artists. He's also an actor and producer, having worked with several artists and produced multiple albums. With his smooth vocals and fusion of Cape Verdean and contemporary music styles, Freitas has earned various awards, including African Music Magazine Awards.
