Momoudou Niaw Nying, also known as Niaw, was a Gambian artiste, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and member of the world-famous Gambian band, Ifang Bondi. While he was alive, Momoudou Niaw Nying played the djembe, drums, gorong, and percussions for the band. He was also one of the band's vocalist. Nying's music is a blend of traditional Gambian music with modern influences.
