She trained at Phillip Kotze Sing Studio in Bloemfontein before entering the competition, where she reached the Top 12 and became known for consistent live-show performances across a wide range of pop and ballad covers.
After Idols, she formed the girl group NKD in 2006 with Kesha Charlton-Perkins and Deidre Visser. The group released “I Want Your Love” and the album "What’s That Noise," and appeared on major South African stages, including supporting international touring acts. NKD received award nominations and media recognition during their active years.
In 2009, she left NKD and moved into freelance work, collaborating with artists such as Bok van Blerk and performing extensively in South Africa and internationally, later continuing her career in the United Arab Emirates.
