    Gaspard Wuta Mayi, known as Wuta Mayi, is a Congolese rumba and soukous singer, composer and songwriter from Kinshasa, DR of Congo. He was a member of the iconic band TPOK Jazz from 1974 to 1982 and has recorded and performed as a solo artist and as a member of the supergroup Les Quatre Etoiles and Kékélé. Wuta Mayi joined several bands before joining TPOK Jazz in 1974. After leaving TPOK Jazz in 1982, he has continued to perform and record music.
