Nneka Lucia Egbuna, with stage name Nneka, is a Nigerian-born Germany-based singer-songwriter known for her politically charged lyrics and socially conscious music. Nneka went to Germany in her early twenties for her University and honed her craft as a singer-songwriter alongside. Her debut album was praised by The Sunday Times and hip-hop legend Nas, and she has since released five more albums and an EP. Nneka has won a MOBO award, performed with prominent artists, and co-founded a charity called The Rope Foundation.
