Chinonso Obinna Amadi, better known as Nonso Amadi is a Nigerian-Canadian singer, songwriter, and producer known for his soulful and reflective music. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Amadi self-taught himself songwriting and music production and honed his skills during his undergraduate days. He gained local and international recognition with his breakout single "Tonight" in 2016. His music is best known for uniquely blending R&B, Afrobeats, and pop influences while exploring themes of love, heartbreak, and personal growth. With a growing fanbase both in Nigeria and internationally, Amadi has established himself as a prominent figure in the Afro-Canadian and Nigerian music scene and has collaborated with many industry heavyweights.
