Smart Nkansah is a Ghanaian veteran highlife singer and guitarist and the founder of Sweet Talks Band. He had difficulty establishing himself because he grew up in a family that did not support his music career. His excellent guitar skills caught the attention of Mr Yamoah, who later absorbed him into his band. Smart later worked briefly with prominent highlife musicians before forming the Sweet Talks Band, which is best known for their debut hit album, Adam & Eve.

Though "Today" became a rare gem, its re-emergence in 2019 introduced Eric Kol's infectious grooves to a new generation, reminding us of the Nigerian maestro who once ruled the boogie nights. Kol is a true Nigerian music legend.

Éric Bosiki, born Erickson Le Zulu, was a talented Ivorian DJ and singer. At 9 years old, he began singing in church with his mother. He later joined the world of DJs in Côte d'Ivoire and became popular for his performances at a local establishment. In 2006, he was awarded Male Performer of the Year at the RTI Music Awards. Erickson released popular tracks including "Hurricane," "Susanna," "Glory," and "Hand of God". Unfortunately, he passed away in 2020 due to illness

Mkhatshani Daniel Shirinda, popularly known as M.D. Shirinda, was a veteran South African singer-songwriter, and pioneer of Xitsonga music. Shirinda's music career started in the 1960s. Despite facing challenges early in his career when producers didn't believe his music would sell, Shirinda's album release in 1976 gave him his career break. Shirinda also performed live with his backing band, the Gaza sisters, which includes his wives. With a career spanning several decades, Shirinda recorded over 764 songs before his demise on June 25, 2017.
