Michael Kesse Frimpong, popularly known as Kesse, is a Ghanaian entertainer, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and neo-recording artist whose interest in music started at an early age. He rose to fame when he won the fourth season of TV3's Mentor and finished as the first runner-up in Project Fame West Africa season 2. Kesse has been active in the music industry since 2008 and in 2012, he released his debut studio album titled "The Prodigy". That same year, he won the Best Male Vocal Award of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards. He sings in Twi, his native language, and is also proficient in English and Ga.
