Ghanaian musician Kwame Nsiah-Apau, with music sobriquet Okyeame Kwame, is a songwriter, creative director, and entrepreneur known as the "Rap Doctor". He began his music career as member of the hiplife duo "Akyeame" and later went solo. Okyeame Kwame raps and sings mostly in the Twi dialect of the Akan language of Ghana, and his versatile prowess sees him doing songs in English as well. Noteworthy, his rap lyrics are being studied in some Ghanaian universities. The talented artist has contributed to education in his home country and offers academic scholarship. Okyeame Kwame runs his own record label, One Mic Entertainment, and he's a partner in several businesses, including Firm Bridges Communications, Horseman Shoes, and Sante's Hair for Kids.
