Omar Pène is a Senegalese vocalist, composer, and former member of Super Diamono who now performs as a solo artist. He started his music career in 1975 as a member of the band Cad before co-founding Super Diamano with other musicians from Tropical Jazz De Dakar. Under his leadership, the band became a driving force in Senegal's music scene for over 25 years with their unique sound and socially conscious lyrics. He recently released his first solo album, "Climat," in 2021.
