Omawumi Megbele, popularly known as Omawumi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress known for her powerful voice and unique blend of Afro-pop, soul, and jazz. She rose to fame in 2007 as a runner-up on "West African Idols." Her debut album, "Wonder Woman," was released in 2009 and featured hit songs like "Love Nwantiti" and "Chocolata." Omawumi has released several albums and singles and has also acted in movies. She's an activist and has won several awards. Omawumi is married with has two children.
