Oothentik Zeus is a Senegalese rapper born in Dakar. He is the Golden Boy of Senegalese rap and one of the biggest revelations of Galsen hip-hop. He is currently signed to the Deff Music Group label. Zeus started rapping when he was 15 years old. He quickly gained popularity on social media, where he shared his freestyles. In 2015, after obtaining his BAC, he launched his professional career by recording his second title, "Bagn Bagn Beug," in Boozot Ent. In 2017, he won the rap competition "Deff Battles". His first album, Thiapathioly, was a commercial and critical success. It was certified gold in Senegal and won several awards, including Best Hip-Hop Album at the African Music Awards.
