Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, a.k.a Oxlade, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter. Oxlade discovered his passion for music at a young age and began writing songs in his teenage years. He left his university studies to pursue his music career, which began in 2018 when he was signed on by Bizzle Osikoya and The Plug Entertainment. Oxlade gained widespread notoriety with the release of his single "Away" in 2020, which earned him a place on the Nigerian TurnTable Top 50 year-end ranking and marked him as a rising star in the industry. He has since released several successful tracks and collaborated with several prominent Nigerian artists. Oxlade was selected as the inaugural Pandora Africa's Next Artist in 2022. His style of music blends Afrobeats, R&B, and alternative genres.
