BioPépé Felly Manuaku is a renowned Congolese Rumba guitarist, songwriter, producer, and arranger.
He's widely considered the foremost Congolese solo guitarist of his generation and known for his unique style of guitar playing, which helped establish the guitar as the lead instrument in contemporary Congolese music.
Pépé Felly is a founding member of the Congolese band Zaiko Langa Langa, and his rapid guitar-playing style was a distinctive feature of the group's music.
He left Zaiko Langa Langa in 1979 to form Grand Zaiko Wawa, which also produced many notable Congolese musicians.
In addition to his music career, Pépé Felly has taught as a guest lecturer in the University of Limerick Irish World Music Academy and serves as the musical director of the Elikya Band.
