Pastor Michael Sumata is a passionate Gospel artist, singer, and songwriter from Kampala, Uganda. With a distinct sound and lyrical depth, he has been captivating audiences with soul-healing and uplifting worship music since 2022.
Michael began his musical journey years ago, working alongside talented individuals like Mr. Kateregga John (also known as John Kay), who served as his voice trainer, and other gifted vocalists. His passion for gospel music deepened in 2019 when he actively pursued songwriting and composition.
He is a proud member of Uganda Performing Rights Society, and he has dedicated himself to creating music that glorifies God and inspires believers worldwide. He has sweet-sounding worship songs like "Tonkweka Masogo Mukama," "Kunamulondo Yo," and "Tegaokutukwo Mukama," which have gained recognition both locally and internationally.
