Popularly known as Papa Noel Nedule or Papa Noel, Antoine Nedule Monswet is a Congolese guitarist and musician. He was born on Christmas day in 1940, which gave rise to the name "Papa Noel." He was a member of the popular band TPOK Jazz in the 60's. He left and joined Les Bantous de la Capitale, under which he composed "Basili Koyokana" and "Mobali Liboso." He later founded his band Bamboula, which thrived for a while but witnessed a series of defections and later ceased to exist. Papa Noel still releases music either as a solo artist or by collaborations. Some of his popular releases include Cafe Noir, Bana Congo, and Bel Ami.
