Pedro Calvo, aka Pedrito, is a popular Cuban singer best known for his time with Los Van Van, a premier Cuban dance band. He joined in 1974 and was part of the lead vocal trio in the late '90s. After leaving Los Van Van in 2001, he formed his band, Pedro Calvo y La Justicia, releasing three albums, mostly remakes of his famous songs with Los Van Van. Despite mixed reviews, Calvo remains a popular figure in Cuban music.
