Pericoma Okoye (Chief Pericoma Mezuo Okoye), was a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and traditionist. He was regarded as a cultural ambassador and a walking library of Igbo history. Throughout his career, Pericomo Okoye released several albums, showcasing his unique style and talent. Some of his popular songs include "Ogu Na Mgba Medley" and "Ebube Agu Medley." His music resonated with both the older generation, who appreciated the traditional elements, and the younger generation, who were drawn to his captivating performances. Pericoma Okoye's contributions to Igbo music and culture earned him recognition and respect throughout Igboland. He was a prominent figure in the Arondizuogu masquerade cult and held the title of Prime Minister of Arondizuogu, Imo State, at the time of his passing in 2017.
