Joseph Nkasa, also known as Phungu Joseph Nkasa, is a Malawian reggae and traditional musician. He began his music career in his late 20s and began releasing songs, but it was his fourth album, "Wayenda Wapenga," that earned him remarkable success, catapulting him to overnight stardom. His music carries messages of hope and inspiration, particularly resonating with the underprivileged people of Malawi. He is the founder of the Zosayina Band and is often accompanied by them. Over the years, he has collaborated with notable figures in Malawian music, such as Evans Milika, Saul Chembezi, and Joseph Alfazema. With his music, Nkasa not only entertains but also educates, enlightens, and empowers, making him a true visionary and a cultural ambassador for Malawi.
