Rasha, whose birth name is Rasha Sheikh Al Deen, is a Sudanese musical artist and actress. Her love for music was ignited as a child in a large family of musicians. Luckily, she got her big break in 1997 with the release of her debut album, Sudaniyat. Her motivation for making music is her desire to make Sudanese music global. In her words, “I’ve always wanted to introduce my native music to a broader public."
