Edmund Addo, popularly known as Reefer Tym, is a rapper from Ghana. He began recording music at a local studio after school at an early age. As a teenager, Reefer released his first single "Shatta Wale" which became a hit song. He gained popularity when American rapper Soulja Boy posted a video of himself asking Tym to drop an album on iTunes. In the same year, Reefer signed a deal with Zeit Records.
