Reggie Rockstone, also known as the "Godfather of Hiplife," is a celebrated Ghanaian rapper who is widely recognized for his pioneering role in the Hip-Life movement in Ghana in 1994. As an artist, Rockstone has been a driving force in the development of Hiplife, a distinctively African music genre that blends hip-hop beats with traditional highlife music. He raps fluently in both Akan, specifically Asante Twi, and English. In 2004, Rockstone's exceptional talent earned him the prestigious Kora Award for the best African video. He has also collaborated with other artists to release several chart-topping songs.
