BioRobert Hart, a celebrated British rock vocalist and songwriter. He began his career with Island Records in the 1980s, collaborating with Bernard Edwards and working on the Hollywood soundtrack for "The Burglar." Later, his band, "The Distance," achieved international success, especially in Japan.
Hart ventured into a solo career with Atlantic Records, releasing "Cries and Whispers," and became the first English artist signed to Disney-owned Hollywood Records. His self-titled album charted in 18 countries. In 1992, Mick Ralphs of Bad Company invited him to front the band, leading to a seven-year tenure and co-writing albums. Hart's exceptional vocals also led to collaborations with renowned artists and bands, including Manfred Mann's Earth Band, cementing his staus as an exceptional vocal talent.
