Bio
Ronald Mayinja, born in Mpenja, Gomba District, is a celebrated Ugandan kadongo kamu and band music artist whose influence spans music, politics, and social outreach. Rising from the National Theatre stage in 1997, he gained fame with hits like “Claire” and “Tuli Ku Bunkenke,” known for songs that speak candidly to real-life emotions. A former Eagles Production member and Golden Band co-founder, he later earned a Social Sciences degree from Makerere and joined the Law Development Centre in 2021. Mayinja’s political songs like “Bizeemu” and “Akalulu Kako Mzee” made national waves. Through his NGO Peace for All, All for Peace, and dual roles in music and advocacy, he continues to shape Uganda’s cultural and civic space with clarity and purpose.
