Rory Eliot is a well-known South African singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist, notably recognized for his role in the acclaimed band Plush. Starting his musical journey at 8 and receiving his first guitar at 15, Eliot created his debut single, "Far Beyond," which was featured on Plush's debut album. To further hone his skills, Eliot studied dramatic arts at AFDA and earned a master's degree in songwriting. After a hiatus following the death of Chas Smith, Eliot, alongside Ben Peters, launched his solo career as "Rory Eliot and The Reason," releasing over 30 songs, achieving numerous number-one hits, and performing in over 1000 live shows. Their seamless collaboration has earned widespread acclaim, with extensive touring and pre-production for Rory Eliot's debut solo album.
