Deko Barbara-Jessica Wedi, with the stage name Rouge, is a multi-talented artist, rapper, author, and television presenter from South Africa. She gained national recognition when she won a freestyle competition on MTV Base South Africa in 2014. In 2017, Rouge released her debut album, "The New Era Sessions", which was accompanied by a short film. The album earned her a South African Film and Television Award for Best Micro Budget Film. Rouge is considered one of the leading female rappers in South Africa.
