Shaun Morgan, also known as Shaun Morgan Welgemoed, is a highly skilled musician recognized for his roles as the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for the South African rock group Seether. Together with bassist Dale Stewart and two others, Morgan founded the band in 1999. Seether's musical style combines post-grunge, alternative metal, and hard rock, resulting in many popular albums and hit singles. Besides his contributions to Seether, Morgan has collaborated with a variety of other musicians and bands, such as Evanescence, Three Days Grace, and Staind. Morgan is widely acknowledged as one of the most significant South African musicians of his era, and his work with Seether has garnered him many honors and a devoted global fanbase.
