Sheebah Karungi, professionally known as Sheebah, aka Queen of Karma, is a multi-award-winning Ugandan singer, dancer, and entrepreneur who turned early struggles into superstardom. Raised by a single mother, she left school in Senior Two and began as a dancer with The Stingers, later joining Obsessions Music Group in 2006.
Her solo career took off with “Ice Cream” in 2013, earning her nationwide fame. With hits like “Nkwatako,” “Beera Nange,” and “Boyfire,” Sheebah dominated charts and bagged multiple HiPipo awards, including Best Female Artist yearly from 2015 to 2024. Her albums "Nkwatako," "Karma," and "Samali" cemented her as a musical force. Offstage, she’s a sharp businesswoman with brands like Holic Pads and Sheebah by Natna Hair, plus her label Karma Music. Notably, she starred in "Queen of Katwe" and champions women’s rights, before becoming VP of the HiPipo Federation in 2024. Sheebah isn’t just Uganda’s queen of pop, she’s a movement.
