Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu, known professionally as Sinach, is a Dove Award for Song of the Year winner and BMI Christian Song of the Year recipient, and is one of Africa’s most influential gospel singers and songwriters. Born in Ebonyi State, Nigeria, she studied Physics at the University of Port Harcourt before pursuing music ministry. She became widely known through her work with Christ Embassy and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome as a worship leader and songwriter. Her notable recordings include “Way Maker,” “I Know Who I Am,” “Great Are You Lord,” “The Name of Jesus,” “There’s an Overflow,” “Evening Sacrifices,” “Live Praise in Kenya,” and “AbA Miracle Crusade.” "Way Maker" became a global worship anthem, and numerous artists worldwide recorded it. Sinach has also received the LIMA Songwriter of the Decade Award and the African Achievers’ Award for Global Excellence, and she continues to minister internationally through concerts, recordings, and worship events.
