Fatuga Idris Olawale, popularly known as Slim Myc, is a Nigerian Afrobeats artist whose music reflects the vibrant energy of Lagos. Raised in a religious household with both Christian and Muslim influences, he keeps much of his family life private. Slim Myc began pursuing music in 2020, drawing inspiration from Nigerian stars like Olamide and Asake. Known for his melodic hooks and layered vocals, he gained attention that same year with his breakout single “Street Request.” Since then, he has expanded his catalog with standout tracks such as “Tonosobe” featuring Aboki Imt and “Kapata Mekako” featuring Surelyboi, steadily cementing his place in the Afrobeats scene.
