Adams Olabode Michael, known as Smada, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. With a natural talent for music, Smada began playing the drums at a young age but later discovered his vocal abilities thanks to his brother's encouragement. In 2021, while still a student, he released his second EP titled NÜNIVERSE, which reached the top spot on iTunes Nigeria. His breakout moment came in 2022 when his song "Ye Anthem" captivated the Gen Z community on TikTok. It led to his signing with NATIVE Records and Def Jam Recordings. Smada's star continues to rise as he impresses both fans and insiders alike with his unique sound and lyrical prowess. He was recognized as one of the Nigerian Artists To Watch out for by The Culture Custodian.
