Souzy Kasseya is a Congolese guitarist, songwriter, performer, and arranger who is well-known for his music, which fuses various genres. He began his career in 1963 and joined the Vox Africa orchestra in 1967, where he was noticed by Grand Kallé Jeff before joining the African Team. In 1973, he started a solo career and moved to Paris, where he worked with prominent artists and released his debut album "Africa Now" in 1980, followed by "Mami Wata" and "Le Telephone Sonne."
