Steve Kinch is a British bassist and a member of the popular British band Manfred Mann's Earth Band. His musical journey began at the age of 12, when his parents gifted him his first guitar. By 14, he was already performing in local cover bands, and at 18, he switched to playing the bass guitar, marking a lasting career transition. In 1974, he joined Factory, a band led by Andy Qunta and Tony Qunta, which offered him more gig opportunities than before. In 1985, he officially became a member of Manfred Mann's Earth Band. Steve Kinch's remarkable bass skills continue to shine with the band, making him an integral part of their live performances and recording projects to this day.
