Livingstone Etse Satekla, known professionally as Stonebwoy, is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer from Ashaiman, Greater Accra. He developed his musical interests during his school years, later studying marketing at the University of Professional Studies, Accra. His career gained traction through rap performances and appearances on Adom FM’s Kasahare Level competition before joining Samini Music. He launched Burniton Music Group and released albums including "Grade 1," "Necessary Evil," "Livingstone," "Epistles of Mama," "Anloga Junction," and "5th Dimension." His 2014 album "Necessary Evil" strengthened his reputation with songs such as “Baafira,” featuring Sarkodie. In 2015, Stonebwoy won the BET Award for Best International Act: Africa and the Ghana Music Awards Artist of the Year. "Epistles of Mama" featured international collaborations with Sean Paul and Burna Boy, while "Anloga Junction" expanded his global reach.His partnership with Def Jam Africa advanced his international career and positioned him as a prominent African reggae and dancehall artist.
