Femi One's breakthrough came when she was featured in King Kaka's major hit "Ligi Soo" remix, and she was subsequently signed to his record label, Kaka Empire.
She gained widespread recognition for her hit song "Utawezana," featuring Mejja, which received positive reviews and became a club banger.
Femi One has released several other successful tracks in Swahili and Sheng languages, including "Pilau Njeri" and "Brikicho."
