Bio
Funuel Nyasha Tazvida, also known by his stage name System Tazvida, was a Zimbabwean musician who gained fame in the 1990s for his satirical music that served as social commentary. Tazvida rose to prominence after the release of "Mabhauwa," a hit song that he sang with the Khiama Boys. Although he had many successful hits, such as "Anodyiwa Haataure" and "Mushandi Ndimambo," it was his 1993 song "Rudo Tsika Nemagariro" that catapulted him to national fame. Prior to forming the Chazezesa Challengers, Tazvida played with several bands and even toured Mozambique. The Chazezesa Challengers recorded numerous successful albums, including "Mutunhu Unemago," which sold over 30,000 copies. Tragically, Tazvida passed away, but his legacy lives on as a cherished figure in Zimbabwe's music industry.
