Oumar Tangara, also known as Tangara Speed Ghoda, was an Ivorian multi-lingual reggae artist. Tangara began his musical career in the 1980s and quickly gained popularity with his unique style and socially conscious lyrics. He released several albums throughout his career and collaborated with other Ivorian artists and also performed in other countries, including neighboring countries in West Africa. Sadly, Tangara passed away on June 2, 2002, leaving behind a legacy of music that continues to inspire fans and aspiring musicians. His music remains an important part of Ivory Coast's cultural heritage and a testament to his talent and dedication to the art of reggae music.
