DiogalSenegal |1970| FrenchDiogal Sakho, mononymously known as Diogal, is a self-taught Senegalese singer and musician born in Ngor, Dakar. He began composing songs in childhood, and in 1996, French multi-instrumentalist Alain 'Loy' Ehrlich discovered his talent. Diogal's music blends Lébou traditional folk and Western influences. After two local cassette productions through Youssou N'Dour's Xippi studio, he released his debut CD, "Samba Alla," in January 2002, in collaboration with Alain 'Loy' Ehrlich, earning acclaim. Now based in France, Diogal consistently produces albums, including "Liir" (2004), "Li Lan La" (2008), "Urban Spirit" (2010), and "Roadside" (2018), to name a few.
