Leaving formal education behind at a young age, he dedicated himself to music, picking up the guitar at just 12 years old. His professional journey took off in 1980, leading to the release of over 20 albums and an array of accolades. Chauke's musical expertise shines through his unique mbaqanga style, where he seamlessly blends traditional Xitsonga tones with jazz and funk.
