Bio
Tomi Thomas is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and vocalist whose work moves fluidly across rap, trap, afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, alternative R&B, and Afro fusion. Grounded in rhythm from an early age, he played drums during his primary school years, a formative experience that shaped the percussive sensibility running through his music. Signed to MOTHER AFRICA REIGNS SUPREME (MARS), he has built a career defined by genre versatility, introspective songwriting, and an instinct for collaboration. Thomas entered the Nigerian music scene in 2010 as a member of the collective Loud on Sound (LOS). Four years later, in 2014, he released his debut solo EP, "Patience". He continued that evolution with projects including "Hopeless Romantic", "Bitter Sweet", and "Substance." He has worked with artists including Buju Banton, Wale, Jesse Jagz, Show Dem Camp, and Larry Gaaga. Tomi Thomas is a force in Nigerian music, continuing to refine a multi-genre approach that resists easy categorization.
