Tongai Moyo, also known as Dhewa, was a Zimbabwean musician who rose to fame in the late 1990s as a solo artist and with the band Utakataka Express. He produced 14 albums over two decades, with successful singles like "Samanyemba", "Naye", and "Muchina Muhombe". Despite being diagnosed with cancer in 2008, he continued to create music and released his final album, "Toita Basa", in 2010. Tongai Moyo passed away in October 2011 due to non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. His legacy continues to inspire contemporary Zimbabwean music.
