Tshegofatso Ketshabile, known professionally as Tshego, is an influential South African-American singer, songwriter, and music producer. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 21, 1990, to ordained ministers, he spent his childhood in the United States before his family permanently relocated to Mafikeng, South Africa, in 2002.
Tshego initially rose to prominence under Cassper Nyovest’s independent imprint, Family Tree, where he released his breakout radio hit "Hennessy" in 2016. Celebrated for his smooth contemporary R&B vocals mixed with hip-hop and trap soul, he eventually launched his own label and released his acclaimed 2019 debut album, “Pink Panther.”
The project featured the multi-platinum, award-nominated anthem "No Ties." His massive success secured him a prominent global distribution deal with Def Jam Africa, cementing his status as a premier architect of modern African urban music.
