Umar Muhammad Shareef, known professionally as Umar M. Shareef, is an award-winning artist from Northern Nigeria who has made a significant impact on the Hausa music and film industries. He is famous as a singer-songwriter, actor, and head of Shareef Studios Investment. Umar's music journey began in 2017, and he quickly rose to fame with his hit song "Masoya." In 2019, he collaborated with some of the biggest names in the Nigerian music industry on the song "I am Not for Sale," making him one of the most popular Hausa artists in Nigeria. Beyond music, Umar is also an award-winning actor in the Kannywood film industry. He has starred in several popular films, including "Kaki Manta Da Ni."
