Bio
Roland Gyamfi, professionally known as Walker Mallow, is a storyteller in motion who grew up in Sokoban Ahodwo, Kumasi, immersed in Highlife spilling from an old radio. Those early rhythms taught him music could carry joy, memory, and connection. Today, he moves seamlessly through Reggae, Afrobeats, UK Rap, Afroswing, Hip-Hop, and Afropop, blending styles with poetic clarity and a reflective voice. His journey began at intimate gatherings, where he learned to hold a room with melody and meaning. That foundation resonates in songs like "Ade Asa, Yaba," "Letter to God," "Breathe," "Destiny," and "Taking Shots," as well as the project "NEMESIS." Walker identifies his releases "Loner Was Here," "This Is Not Me," and "For The Family" as milestones in his evolution, each capturing a distinct chapter. His personal favorite, "Night In Silence," strips back production to focus on evocative lyrics and raw emotion.
