Werrason, born Noel Ngiama Makanda, is a Congolese musician. In 1981, Werrason embarked on his musical journey when he co-founded the legendary band Wenge Musica Maison Mère (WMMM), along with his childhood friends Didier Masela and Adolphe Dominguez. Throughout his career, Werrason has released several critically acclaimed albums, including the groundbreaking "Kibuisa Mpimpa" and the popular "Techno Malewa Suite et Fin." Beyond his musical endeavors, Werrason is a multi-talented artist who has also showcased his skills as a songwriter, record producer, arranger, dancer, and choreographer. Today, Werrason continues to create and perform music that uplifts and unites people. His legacy as a visionary artist and cultural ambassador remains an indelible mark on the vibrant tapestry of African music.
