Yemi Alade, a Nigerian Afropop artist, singer-songwriter, and performer, is also a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador. She first gained recognition for her musical talents when she won the Peak Talent Show in 2009, leading to a record label signing. Among her early releases are hit singles like "Johnny," "Kissing," and "Tangerine," with "Johnny" achieving international success. Yemi Alade has since released numerous other singles and albums, culminating in a recent collaboration with Angelique Kidjo.
