Sandile Fortune Msimango, best known as Young Stunna, is a South African recording artist whose work draws from amapiano, gqom, kwaito, shangaan, and trap. He adopted the name "Young Stunna" after it was given to him by local supporters long before he entered the national spotlight.
He reached wider audiences in 2021 through Piano Hub and his appearance on "Bopha," a release that introduced him to the rapidly growing amapiano audience. Collaborations with DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small accelerated his rise, while "Adiwele" became one of South Africa's biggest records, dominating radio and generating more than 23 million impressions.
In 2022, he won Best Amapiano Album at the South African Music Awards and received BET's Viewer's Choice: Best New International Act. With releases spanning 2021 to 2025 and partnerships across several labels, Young Stunna remains one of the defining voices of his generation.
