Zongo Seydou, also known as Zêdess, is an Ivorian singer and songwriter. He gained popularity in his home country after releasing his second album, "Embouteillage", in 1995. Zêdess's popularity continued to grow in West Africa with the release of his album "Where are we going?", featuring the hit song "Director thief", which was broadcast on Africa No 1. Zêdess has released several albums and tours extensively in Burkina Faso and Europe. In 2005, he gained international recognition during the French presidential campaign.
